The guides and the compliance checker summarise published rules from state regulators and councils, dated when we last checked them. They are not legal advice. Whether your pool barrier complies is decided by a registered inspector, certifier or your council, not by this site.
Prices are published ranges
Costs on this site come from named industry sources and are labelled as such. They are not quotes. A written quote from the business doing the work is the price that counts.
Rules change
Regulators can change requirements, forms and deadlines. Each figure links to its source so you can confirm it is still current before you rely on it.
Referrals
If you ask for quotes, we pass your request to pool safety inspectors, fencing contractors or pool builders. They may pay us a fee for that introduction. We never charge you, and you do not have to accept any quote.
